We are a registered organization serving for the rural and tribal poor in and around Tiruvannamalai District, Tamil Nadu, India. With the intention of improving the quality of life of poor and tribal people we have formed this organization in the year of 1993 by the like minded youths.

SPHEED  is a  Charitable voluntary organization established  by the group of social activists . The Organisation is engaged in various welfare and developmental activities among the downtrodden, handicapped and marginalized farmer sectors, especially underprivileged women and children.  Health, Children education and welfare, Women Saving & Credit society  and providing employment opportunity are our present focusing area.  Geographical working area of our organization is in Tamil Nadu limit.  Tiruvannamalai District is our present target area. 

Our SPHEED realizes the talent capacity among the people upgrade themselves from their present states. If stresses for increased and better participation of the people in community development affairs thereby re establishing the existing system and believe that the people are the great resources. SPHEED has completed  with successfully endeavors   and committed itself to help the poor people to become self reliant, not as depended, to use the resources locally available to achieve a social change in rural sector. Since its inception, economic development activities is also been one of our key areas of concern.  Particularly, setting up of micro enterprises units, micro credit & saving units and providing Entrepreneurship training for economic downtrodden youth and women in rural area.
